A shooting at a gathering in the Beverly Crest neighborhood of Los Angeles early Saturday morning claimed the lives of at least three people and injured four, according to police.<\/p>\n
Beverly Crest is approximately 2 miles north of Beverly Hills.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Calls about a multi-victim shooting in the 2700 block of Ellison Drive came in around 2:30 a.m, the Los Angeles Police Department said in a statement<\/a>. The home was a short-term rental property.<\/p>\n Upon arrival at the scene, officers found five victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Three were announced dead on the scene.\u00a0<\/p>\n The three deceased victims included two men and one woman, who police say were in a vehicle parked in front of the home where the party was.<\/p>\n The four remaining victims, three men and one woman, were transported to local hospitals. Two are in critical condition while two are stable.<\/p>\n The identities of the victims have not been released.<\/p>\n This was not an active shooter situation, Sergeant Bruce Borihanh said in a news conference Saturday afternoon.\u00a0<\/p>\n No information was given about the shooter, but Borihanh said police are working on identifying the “suspects.”<\/p>\n Police\u00a0<\/strong>ask anyone with information on the shooting to come forward.<\/p>\n This marks the fourth mass shooting in California this month.<\/p>\n On Jan. 21, 11 people were fatally shot<\/a> at a Lunar New Year event in Monterey Park, a predominantly Asian South California suburb. Two days later, seven people were killed by a shooter in Half Moon Bay<\/a>, and one person was killed and several injured at a shooting in an Oakland gas station<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
