Blige, who is\u00a0<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.etonline.com\/2023-grammy-nominations-see-the-full-list-194353\" rel=\"noopener\">nominated for six awards<\/a> including Record of the Year, Album of the Year and\u00a0Best R&amp;B Performance;\u00a0Bad Bunny who is looking to add three gramophones to his two win-count, including\u00a0Best Pop Solo Performance\u00a0and Best M\u00fasica Urbana Album; six-time GRAMMY winner Brandi Carlile, who is up for seven awards, including\u00a0Best Rock Performance,\u00a0Best Americana Performance and Best Americana Album;\u00a0 and Lizzo, who\u00a0is nominated for five GRAMMY Awards, including\u00a0Song Of The Year and Best Pop Vocal Album.<\/p>\n<p>Luke Combs and Steve Lacy are also among the list of <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.etonline.com\/2023-grammy-nominations-see-the-full-list-194353\" rel=\"noopener\">nominated musicians<\/a> slated to give performances during the Sunday night show, along with first-time nominee Kim Petras, who four-time winner Sam Smith will join. The duo earned\u00a0a Best Pop Duo\/Group Performance nomination for their wild hit, &#8220;Unholy.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Harry Styles will also be performing at the awards ceremony. Styles has been\u00a0<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.etonline.com\/2023-grammy-nominations-see-the-full-list-194353\" rel=\"noopener\">nominated for six GRAMMYs this year<\/a>, including\u00a0Record Of The Year and Song of the Year for &#8220;As It Was,&#8221;\u00a0as well as Album Of The Year for<em>\u00a0Harry&#8217;s House<\/em>,\u00a0among others.<\/p>\n<p>DJ Khaled is slated to appear onstage with collaborators Fridayy, JAY-Z, John Legend, Lil Wayne and Rick Ross\u00a0to perform the GRAMMY-nominated &#8220;GOD DID.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The awards show will also feature a special performance by\u00a0Stevie Wonder, the\u00a0recipient of this year&#8217;s\u00a0Lifetime Achievement Award,\u00a0GRAMMY\u00a0winner Smokey Robinson,\u00a0the\u00a0GRAMMY\u00a0Legend Award recipient,\u00a0and eight-time\u00a0GRAMMY\u00a0winner Chris Stapleton.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the usual fanfare of music&#8217;s biggest night, the GRAMMYs will also celebrate the\u00a050th Anniversary of Hip Hop with a showcase of\u00a0the genre&#8217;s rich history and continued global influence. The segment will feature\u00a0electrifying performances by Big Boi, Busta Rhymes with Spliff Star, De La Soul, DJ Drama, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Missy Elliott, Future, GloRilla, Grandmaster Flash, Grandmaster Mele Mel &amp; Scorpio\/Ethiopian King, Ice-T, Lil Baby, Lil Wayne, The Lox, Method Man, Nelly, Public Enemy, Queen Latifah, Rahiem, Rakim, RUN-DMC, Salt-N-Pepa and Spinderella, Scarface, Swizz Beatz\u00a0and Too $hort.<\/p>\n<p>LL COOL J will introduce the segment, perform and give a dedication to hip hop. Questlove will serve as producer and musical director, music will be provided by The Roots and Black Thought will narrate.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;For five decades, Hip Hop has not only been a defining force in music, but a major influence on our culture,&#8221; Harvey Mason Jr., CEO of the Recording Academy, said in a statement. &#8220;Its contributions to art, fashion, sport, politics, and society cannot be overstated. I&#8217;m so proud that we are honoring it in such a spectacular way\u00a0on the GRAMMY stage. It is just the beginning of our year-long celebration of this essential genre of music.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Former\u00a0<em>Daily Show\u00a0<\/em>host\u00a0<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.etonline.com\/people\/trevor-noah\" rel=\"noopener\">Trevor Noah<\/a>\u00a0returns to emcee\u00a0the GRAMMYs <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.etonline.com\/trevor-noah-returning-to-host-2023-grammy-awards-196059\" rel=\"noopener\">for a third consecutive\u00a0time<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Noah\u00a0told\u00a0<em><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/awards\/trevor-noah-grammys-2023-host-interview-1235186625\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Billboard<\/a><\/em>\u00a0that, for him, getting to head up music&#8217;s biggest night is a &#8220;cheat code,\u00a0because I\u2019m a fan of almost all the people who are there.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I am 1,000% a fan, and what I love about the GRAMMYs is that I become a fan of a new artist every single time,&#8221; he said.\u00a0&#8220;What many people don\u2019t realize is how much work goes into the performances. Getting every single key right, every lighting cue perfect, choreographing all the moves between the cameras and the artists. You don\u2019t truly appreciate it until you get behind the scenes, and I think that\u2019s what makes me enjoy the show even more.&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Part of the thrill, Noah\u00a0noted, is getting the chance to go &#8220;off the cuff&#8221; to improvise and engage the audience, but always &#8220;in service of the show.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Everyone is there to have a good time.
