Update To ‘Sims’ Video Game Features Teen Trans Characters With Chestbinders, Breast Removal Scars<\/span><\/p>\n

A new update to the popular \u201cSims\u201d video game, where the player controls communities of simulated characters, now features transgender characters replete with chest binders and scars from having their breasts surgically removed.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Update was recently announced by EA Games:<\/p>\n

A base game update is here with new content including medical wearables, binders, shapewear, a light switch & more including bug fixes & console gameplay improvements \ud83e\udd73\ud83d\udc9a<\/p>\n

The game, which is aimed at children from age 12, also enables players to place \u2018packing\u2019 or \u2018tucking\u2019 underwear\u2019 on their sims, garments that give or hide the appearance of male genitalia.<\/p>\n

The \u201cCreate a Sim\u201d character creator now has a \u201cTop Surgery Scar\u201d subcategory, which can be added to male Sims characters aged Teen or older. Furthermore, chest binders can be found under the \u201cTanks\u201d subcategory in the \u201cTops\u201d section, while \u201ctucking underwear\u201d can be situated under \u201cBottoms\u201d in the \u201cunderwear\u201d subcategory.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

In a\u00a0statement<\/a>, \u201cThe Sims 4\u201d producer John Faciane called the update \u201ca step in the direction of a more inclusive experience for Simmers.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
