The former president’s planned visit comes as the Biden administration, Ohio state officials, and many mainstream media outlets have downplayed the environmental disaster<\/a> in the small blue-collar town after a train hauling toxic chemicals derailed two weeks ago.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The botched response by the federal government, for instance, rejecting\u00a0Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) assistance early this week to only\u00a0U-turn last night<\/a>, shows the awful response effort by the Biden administration.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Trump wants to capitalize on what Legal Insurrection<\/a> states, “Ohio’s toxic train derailment is Biden’s Katrina.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

President Biden has barely mentioned the East Palestine chemical disaster. It took Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg nearly a week to respond publicly<\/a> to the incident while reports of residents getting sick from the fumes flared up after a controlled burn of toxic chemical vinyl chloride.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Looks like @EPA<\/a>, @fema<\/a>, @nscorp<\/a>, @MikeDeWine<\/a>, @potus<\/a>, and @PeteButtigieg<\/a> are throwing East Palestine to the wolves. They’re not going to help. They’re just hoping it goes away & the locals will just shut up & drink the contaminated water.<\/p>\n
