Tsai confirmed that Taiwan had been <strong>upgrading its computer systems to be able to share information with the Five Eyes nations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We can connect with the \u2018Five Eyes\u2019 alliance through a confidential system,&#8221; Tsai said,\u00a0<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/bdnews24.com\/world\/asia-pacific\/2bl323ez1n\" rel=\"noopener\">according to\u00a0<em>Reuters<\/em>.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The comments are the latest example of Taiwan\u2019s growing relationship with the US and its allies. The cooperation angers Beijing, which has responded to the increased US support for Taiwan by putting more military pressure on the island.<\/p>\n<p>Also on Wednesday, the Taiwanese Defense Ministry said its upcoming military exercises will focus on breaking a blockade.
