Are you the type of person who works hard, saves money, and invests with the intent of accumulating lasting wealth?<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

If so, you\u2019ve likely noticed that things don\u2019t quite add up between what you\u2019re regularly told about how the economy and financial markets work and what you actually experience.\u00a0<\/strong> We think there\u2019s more to this than just dollars and cents.<\/p>\n

The central feature of economics is prices.\u00a0 How they are determined and how people respond to them.\u00a0 This process establishes how prices adapt to meet the supply and demand pressures of the market.<\/p>\n

Through experience, buyers can determine what\u2019s a good deal or not.\u00a0 And they adjust their behavior accordingly.\u00a0 Similarly, through testing, sellers determine the optimal price of their products; a price where profit margin is best supported by sales.<\/p>\n

For example, when airfares are cheap, a father may spring for long distance plane tickets so his family can vacation somewhere exotic. \u00a0When plane tickets are expensive, he may opt for a road trip and tent camping at a national park.<\/p>\n

Both experiences will create lasting family memories.\u00a0 Prices, nonetheless, are a critical determinant in the decision.<\/p>\n

In fact, prices, and how people respond to them, are factored into nearly all free exchanges for fulfilling wants and needs.\u00a0 You may already have an ample supply of socks.\u00a0 But a \u2018buy one get one free\u2019 sale may incentivize you to buy more.<\/p>\n

Your old beater car may work just fine.\u00a0 Still, you may want a new car that has all the latest digital integrations.<\/p>\n

But how badly do you want it?\u00a0 Bad enough to sign-up for a\u00a0$1,000 per month<\/a>\u00a0car payment?\u00a0 At that price, you\u2019ll miss out on a lot of steak dinners.<\/p>\n

The point is prices and incentives matter.\u00a0<\/strong> Moreover, changes in conditions that raise or lower prices, such as interest rates or regulations, will influence behavior.<\/p>\n

This is an important insight.\u00a0 And it is one that is not lost on government policy makers.\u00a0 By influencing prices, they can influence behavior.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Corrupting Prices<\/strong><\/h2>\n

To be perfectly frank, prices are corrupted by governments for the purpose of extracting capital from the economy and rearranging society in strange and unnatural ways.<\/strong>\u00a0 In California, for instance,\u00a0Assembly Bill No. 205<\/a>, which was approved by Governor Newsom in 2022, requires power companies to charge customers a base fee that escalates by income bracket.<\/p>\n

A recent\u00a0proposal<\/a>, would forcibly compel high income earners to pay a base fee that\u2019s over 400 percent more than low income earners.\u00a0 This is in addition to the actual use rate.<\/p>\n

Is it fair and just to penalize people with high incomes?\u00a0 Does the government know how to spend money better than the people who earned it?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Sacramento thinks so.\u00a0 As does Washington through its execution of federal income tax policies.<\/p>\n

The process of corrupting prices also accrues power to the central planners and decision makers.\u00a0 This power, and the wealth it affords them, has proven to be quite intoxicating. \u00a0Too much is never enough.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s more, bankrupt, failing governments can only hold onto power by tightening their grip on those they dominate \u2013\u00a0including you<\/em>.\u00a0 Compulsory diktats over how your time is directed and how your money is spent are acts of desperation.\u00a0 Yet they must go on.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Massive taxes, endless fees, tax incentive credits, and outright currency debasement and money supply inflation, all work to extract capital from private individuals and direct it back to Washington. \u00a0And right now, in the later stage of decadence, this appropriative coercion must increase.<\/p>\n

You see, at this point, there\u2019s no way to reverse the gross corruption that has already occurred.\u00a0 Any potential means to do so are soon coopted by the central authority and turned against the population.<\/p>\n

Tools of Control<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Consider digital technology advancements.\u00a0 These should be liberating.\u00a0 And in many ways, they are.\u00a0 But what the last 20 years of the digital age has shown is something that\u2019s profoundly sinister.<\/p>\n

Digital advancements, in practice, have given governments \u2013 including the U.S. government \u2013 powerful tools of control.\u00a0 <\/strong>Edward Snowden blew the whistle a decade ago on the massive surveillance apparatus that was being erected to spy on people.\u00a0 Instead of being hailed a hero, Snowden was rewarded with espionage charges and exiled to Russia.<\/p>\n

Since then, the use of digital tools to spy on and control the political process has run completely amok.\u00a0 Each innovation \u2013 from social media to cryptocurrencies to artificial intelligence \u2013 is swiftly penetrated by the FBI, CIA, IRS, Homeland Security, and the Federal Reserve.<\/p>\n

The new digital innovations are then used to punish certain baskets of deplorables, rig elections, and stymie honest debate for the purpose of locking people down, pumping them full of bogus vaccines, and locking the doors to their churches.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A preponderance of evidence has shown that these are not merely conspiracy theories.\u00a0 Rather, they\u2019re real, genuine,\u00a0bona fide<\/em>\u00a0conspiracies.\u00a0 And they\u2019re being perpetrated by powerful actors to destroy your freedoms, confiscate your wealth, and rule your life.<\/p>\n

Bat to human spread of coronavirus.\u00a0 Hunter Bidens laptop.\u00a0 Russiagate.\u00a0 These episodes were all based on lies that were perpetuated through the collusion of media with unelected bureaucrats, sitting in corrupt government agencies, to swing power in their favor.<\/p>\n

Revelations included in the recently released Durham report confirm what everyone already knew, in spite of all the lies from Rachel Maddow and Adam Shiff.\u00a0 That Russiagate was a complete fabrication by the FBI and the Clintons.<\/p>\n

How Corruption Makes You Poor<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The findings of the Durham report, for any honest observer, really aren\u2019t all that shocking.\u00a0 Political corruption in America has been normalized.<\/p>\n

Like opaque medical billing charges, it\u2019s merely a facet of everyday life.\u00a0 You can get worked up over it.\u00a0 You can complain.\u00a0 But it won\u2019t do any good.<\/p>\n

The IRS, for example, has long proven itself to be an agency of dubious actors.\u00a0<\/strong> If you recall, the IRS singled out conservative groups in 2013, including the Tea Party, and subjected them to expensive and needless audits.<\/p>\n

Lois Lerner, who was then the director of the IRS division that oversaw tax-exempt groups, ultimately apologized for making mistakes and exercising poor judgment.\u00a0 President Obama also demanded the resignation of the acting IRS commissioner, Steven T. Miller, and called the agency\u2019s\u00a0actions<\/a>\u00a0\u201cintolerable and inexcusable.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Yet if there was really justice to be had the IRS would be scrapped and the agency\u2019s workers would be sent home without pay.\u00a0 The impenetrable tax code would be replaced with a simple across the board flat tax, which eliminates all deductions, loopholes, and chicanery.\u00a0 But that would remove the politics, lobbying, and swindling opportunities behind it, which is the tax code\u2019s very point.<\/p>\n

Given these abuses by the IRS, for partisan purposes, it shouldn\u2019t be a surprise that other government agencies are abusing their powers for political objectives.<\/strong><\/p>\n

What to make of it?<\/p>\n

Banana republics of all stripes have several common denominators:<\/strong><\/p>\n

They have a corrupt political class, including both \u2018elected\u2019 officials and unelected agency bureaucrats, who lie, cheat, and steal to consolidate power and concentrate wealth. \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

They have a corrupt debt-based currency, run massive deficits, and resort to the printing press to scam the populace.<\/p>\n

All public restrooms are corrupted with carved graffiti and missing toilet seats.\u00a0 In good time, as a nation\u2019s corruption spreads and becomes more pervasive it bleeds all private wealth from its citizens.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lastly, you know utopia\u2019s been reached when the powerless majority are all equally poor.<\/p>\n
