President Joe Biden was caught in another embarrassing gaffe when he claimed he spoke with former French President Francois Mitterrand during a 2021 G7 summit.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

Mitterrand died in 1996.<\/p>\n

The incident happened during a speech Biden gave to to hospitality workers in Las Vegas ahead of Tuesday\u2019s Nevada primary.<\/p>\n

Biden also struggled to differentiate between Germany and France during the garbled monologue.<\/p>\n

Biden said he attended the meeting, \u201cAnd I sat down and said America\u2019s back.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd Mitterrand from Germany, I mean from France, looked at me and said, uh, s-said, you know, what, why, how long you back for?\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Biden was presumably referring to French President Emmanuel Macron, someone who hasn\u2019t been dead for 28 years.<\/p>\n

The White House later amended the remarks with the name \u201cMitterrand\u201d crossed out and replaced with \u201cMacron\u201d.<\/p>\n

I can see why @billmaher<\/a> told @patrickbetdavid<\/a> that @joebiden<\/a> is cognitively sharper than Orange Himmler. Biden, who will be 86-years-old by the time his next term ends if he wins, appears to be suffering an accelerated cognitive decline.<\/p>\n
