Migrant Gang Rape Of Child In Italy Prompts CNN To Worry About “Far-Right”<\/span><\/p>\n

After a group of migrants gang-raped a 13-year-old girl in Italy, CNN responded by expressing concern about how it might help the \u201cfar-right.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yes, really.<\/p>\n

The girl was raped in front of her boyfriend in a public park in the Sicilian city of Catania.<\/p>\n

The seven suspects are all Egyptian migrants and three were under the age of 18.<\/p>\n

In reporting the story, CNN\u2019s main focus was to worry about how the incident, which is just \u201cthe latest in a string of shocking sexual attacks in the country,\u201d might increase political support for the right-wing.<\/p>\n

Respondents pointed out that the news network was literally \u2018fulfilling the meme\u2019 made famous by Norm MacDonald.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The CNN piece also highlighted \u201ca scathing op-ed in the right-leaning newspaper Il Giornale\u201d because it accurately pointed to the fact that mass migration is driving sexual crimes across Europe.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cWhy are these individuals, without any requirement to access international protection, still in Italy and have not been subject to expulsion?\u201d the editors wrote.<\/p>\n

As we previously\u00a0highlighted<\/a>, Italian Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini called for people convicted of violent sexual offences to be chemically castrated in response to the gang rape of the 13-year-old girl.<\/p>\n
