Trump-Hunter Letitia James Spent Thousands On Luxury Travel And All Sorts Of Other Malarkey<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"clearfix text-formatted field field--name-body field--type-text-with-summary field--label-hidden field__item\">\n<p>While Georgia Trump prosecutor Fani Willis is embroiled in Fanigate &#8211; paying her boyfriend nearly $1 million to help her &#8216;get Trump&#8217; while he flew the two of them on (allegedly &#8216;cash&#8217; reimbursed) lavish vacations, <strong>New York AG Letitia James has been spending tens of thousands of taxpayer dollars on all sorts of personal benefits<\/strong>, according to a recent analysis of a recent financial disclosure by X user &#8220;Mel&#8221; (@Villagecrazylady).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cms.zerohedge.com\/s3\/files\/inline-images\/letitia%20james.jpg?itok=X5_w9xK_\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The findings are damning. James spent <strong>more than $15,000 on luxury hotels in Puerto Rico<\/strong>, $20,000 per yea rin meals, $7,000 dropped at a NYC nightclub that was billed as an &#8220;office,&#8221; and $84,000 in airfare to fly all over the country.<\/p>\n<p>Then there\u2019s the airfare. In the 5 years she\u2019s been the New York State AG, James\u2019 has spent over $84,000 on airfare to fly herself all over the country.<\/p>\n<p>This includes private jet rentals. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/jihZzOALgO\">pic.twitter.com\/jihZzOALgO<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Mel (@Villgecrazylady) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Villgecrazylady\/status\/1762545037395558879?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 27, 2024<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>She also stayed at the Beverly Hills Wilshire<\/strong>, and claimed $65,000 in &#8220;reimbursements&#8221; to &#8220;campaign consultants,&#8221; which as X user Jim Weed <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JimBobW49\/status\/1763852165653876965\">notes<\/a>, &#8220;could literally be anything.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><em>Speaking of campaign consultants,<strong> can anyone tell me why a state Attorney General would need to spend over $300,000 in a single year (2023) on campaign consultants when she *just* won re-election the previous November?<\/strong> What could she possibly be consulting on? Furthermore, why do these million-dollar \u201ccampaign consultancy firms\u201d always seem to be run out of random 2-bedroom apartments?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>To be clear, Ms. James isn\u2019t breaking the law with her expenditures. But considering the high bar she set for Trump in his civil fraud case,<strong> it\u2019s more than a little galling that she plays so fast and loose with what she deems to be \u201clegitimate campaign expenses.\u201d <\/strong>-@JimBobW49<\/em><\/p>\n<p>James also spent <strong>thousands at the &#8217;48 Lounge&#8217; in NYC<\/strong> as a &#8216;fundraising&#8217; expense, a venue which claims to provide a &#8220;luxurious and intimate atmosphere.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Then there\u2019s thousands spent on Ubers and Lyfts.<\/p>\n<p>Tens of thousands spent on \u201coffice\u201d at everywhere from Target to BJ\u2019s wholesale.<\/p>\n<p>Over $7,000 dropped at a nightclub in NYC and billed as \u201coffice.\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/lWswXt5IyQ\">pic.twitter.com\/lWswXt5IyQ<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Mel (@Villgecrazylady) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Villgecrazylady\/status\/1762545044366426142?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 27, 2024<\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>Continues:<\/em><\/p>\n<p>So you might be wondering, where does all this money come from?<\/p>\n<p>Well here\u2019s where things get interesting.<\/p>\n<p>Because it appears our holier than thou Attorney General, Ms. James, has gotten herself wrapped up in the ghost donor scam.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Mel (@Villgecrazylady) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Villgecrazylady\/status\/1762545061596655653?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 27, 2024<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ghost Donors?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>It appears Attorney General Ms. James is wrapped up in the ghost donor scam.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>You may think that ghost donor bots were just operating at the federal level, but this investigation revealed how big it is at the state level.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Here\u2019s a list of \u00a0Ms. James\u2019 total donations and their corresponding receipts by year. Does anything jump out at you?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Obviously, 2022 is off the charts. Over 32,500 receipts, and over 62% are from out of state. Who the heck donates to an Attorney General, running in a totally safe seat in a whole other state?!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Answer: Ghost donors. What are ghost donors? Ghost donors (sometimes called \u201csmurfs\u201d) are sophisticated bot programs that use the names and addresses of real Americans to make donations to political campaigns.<\/strong> This allows the people running the programs to circumvent campaign finance laws.
