With Democrats high-fiving over the ‘historic’ conviction of Donald Trump, their chief political rival, a fight has broken out amongst party leaders over how to gloat over this obvious political lawfare<\/strong> which was allegedly coordinated<\/a> with the Biden administration, and rife with conflicts of interest<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Even\u00a0CNN<\/em> senior legal analyst, Elie Honig, admitted<\/a> that Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg (who reduced 60% of felonies to misdemeanors in 2023, yet elevated Trump’s misdemeanor to a felony), wrote in NY Mag<\/em><\/a>: “Here, prosecutors got their man, for now at least \u2013 but they also contorted the law in an unprecedented manner in their quest to snare their prey.<\/strong>“<\/p>\n

“The charges against Trump are obscure<\/strong>, and nearly entirely unprecedented. In fact, no state prosecutor \u2014 in New York, or Wyoming, or anywhere \u2014 has ever charged federal election laws as a direct or predicate state crime, against anyone, for anything. None. Now the Democrats are split<\/a> on how to gloat over this communist show trial – with party establishment figures preaching caution and restraint, and the other side which sees Trump’s guilt as a political gift <\/strong>that should be used as a cudgel.<\/p>\n
