It\u2019s often accessible to self-employed or remote workers employed by entities outside the host country.<\/p>\n<p>This graphic,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.visualcapitalist.com\/charted-countries-offering-digital-nomad-visas\/\"> via Visual Capitalist&#8217;s Bruno Venditti, <\/a>shows the countries that offer digital nomad visas as of May 2024.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cms.zerohedge.com\/s3\/files\/inline-images\/Voro-Countries-digital-nomad-vis.jpg?itok=et6yKJeN\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The data comes from various visa programs around the world and was compiled by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2024\/05\/14\/countries-with-digital-nomad-visas.html\">CNBC<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Dozens of Options to Work Abroad<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Over 40 countries offer digital nomad visas.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mexico and El Salvador offer the longest visas, with a duration of four years. In El Salvador, however, the worker has to apply for an extension to obtain the maximum length of stay.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Iceland, with a minimum income requirement of $85,000 per individual per year, and Belize, with a requirement of $75,000 per individual per year, have the highest minimum income requirements for digital nomads.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The most common length of stay is one year.
