Right-wing Austrian political party FP\u00d6 wants to appoint a \u2018Remigration Commissioner\u2019 who will oversee the deportation of illegal immigrants.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Freedom Party of Austria won the EU elections after obtaining 25.4 per cent of the vote and gaining 3 seats, marking the first time that the FP\u00d6 has emerged as the strongest political party in the country.<\/p>\n

When asked why they were voting for FP\u00d6, 62% of FPO supporters stated that they \u201cwanted to make a statement on domestic policy.\u201d<\/p>\n

That includes addressing Austria\u2019s problem with illegal immigration, which authorities have taken a tougher stance on over the last year.<\/p>\n

Now the Freedom Party is demanding the right to appoint MP Dr. Susanne F\u00fcrst to take the role of \u2018remigration commissioner\u2019 in order to accelerate the deportation of criminal migrants.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs the no. 1 party in Austria, the FP\u00d6 is doubling down on remigrating potentially millions of migrants across the EU,\u201d reports Remix News.<\/p>\n

According to a report by Vindobona<\/a>, any attempt to appoint F\u00fcrst as \u2018Remigration Commissioner \u201cwill certainly lead to heated discussions.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe decision on the successor to Johannes Hahn as Austrian EU Commissioner lies with the federal government and must be confirmed by the main committee of the National Council. However, there is disagreement within the turquoise-green coalition. The Greens refused to stick to the original agreement with the \u00d6VP, which gave the People\u2019s Party the right to propose the Austrian EU Commissioner,\u201d reports the news outlet.<\/p>\n

Back in April, Freedom Party MEP Harald Vilimsky warned<\/a> that Europe risks becoming \u201ca second Arabia or Africa\u201d and that governments are importing migrants who create security problems then offering \u2018solutions\u2019 that only punish native populations.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe do not want the name Mohammed to become the most popular name for male newborns in our great countries, as is the case in Brussels, where the EU parliament is located,\u201d said Vilimsky.<\/p>\n
