DHS ‘Intelligence Experts Group’ Classified Military Service, Religion, & Trump-Support As Indicators Of Domestic Extremism & Terrorism<\/span><\/p>\n

A now disbanded group in Joe Biden\u2019s Department Homeland Security (DHS) classified Trump supporters, members of the military, and people with religious views as persons likely to commit \u201cdomestic violent extremist\u201d attacks,\u00a0newly released internal files<\/a>\u00a0show.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

DHS\u00a0announced<\/a>\u00a0the formation of the \u201cHomeland Intelligence Experts Group\u201d in September 2023 to \u201cprovide advice and perspectives on intelligence and national security efforts\u201d to the Department, but according to\u00a0America First Legal<\/a>, \u201cit was a completely partisan group designed to provide top cover for the Department\u2019s radical agenda<\/p>\n

AFL and former Ambassador Richard Grenell filed a lawsuit against the Homeland Intelligence Experts Group soon after the group was announced, and spurred Republican members of Congress to take action against it.<\/p>\n

AFL alleged that the group comprised of partisan actors violated the Federal Advisory Committee Act for various reasons – including its lack of balance, the Biden Administration\u2019s inappropriate influence over it, and its lack of public notice and participation, among other things.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

To avoid further litigation and scrutiny, the Biden regime agreed in May to disband the illegal group and provide its records to AFL. However, the group may have been active for a year before it was pressured to shut down.<\/p>\n

\u201cBy the time the Homeland Intelligence Experts Group was announced in September 2023, the group had already been meeting for as long as four months,\u201d AFL reported.<\/em><\/p>\n

Members of the deep state cabal included former Obama intelligence officials and Russia collusion hoaxers John Brennan and James Clapper\u2014both signatories of the infamous \u201cLetter of 51,\u201d which mislead the American public on the veracity of the Hunter Biden laptop story ahead of the 2020 election.<\/p>\n

Also included in the unit were former Obama official Francis Taylor,\u00a0 Asha George, Rajesh De, Caryn Wagner, and Elisa Massimino, all of whom contributed exclusively to Democrat candidates for political office.<\/p>\n

During a meeting in September on \u201cCollection Posture and Associated Challenges,\u201d the partisan group discussed ways to get around the Constitutional limits to their domestic intelligence gathering goals.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

One idea<\/a>\u00a0they came up with was expanding DHS\u2019s reach into local communities in an \u201cambiguous\u201d and \u201cnon-threatening\u201d way to encourage teachers and parents to report on their conservative neighbors and children. <\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

The group sought to reclassifying political dissent as a \u201cpublic health\u201d issue so that \u201cmothers and teachers\u201d could feel comfortable coming forward.<\/strong><\/p>\n

They also proposed that people be tagged with \u201cin the military\u201d and \u201creligious\u201d labels to profile them as having \u201cindicators of extremists and terrorism\u201d as a pretext to allow DHS to spy on them. The group said \u201cwe should be more worried about these\u201d individuals [than left-wing extremist groups like antifa and the millions of unvetted illegal aliens DHS has allowed to cross the southern border].<\/p>\n

The group went on to discuss how \u201cmost of the Domestic Terrorism threat now comes from supporters of the former president [Donald Trump].<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t the first time the Biden regime has been caught engaging in abusive and partisan intelligence collection.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In April 2022,\u00a0DHS announced<\/a>\u00a0the formation of an \u201cDisinformation Governance Board\u201d (DGB) to respond to matters the government\u00a0unilaterally determined<\/a>\u00a0to be mis-, dis- or mal-information (MDM)\u2014specifically information that countered official regime narratives on \u201cthe origins and effects of COVID-19 vaccines,\u201d \u201cthe efficacy of masks,\u201d the validity of the 2020 election,\u201d and \u201cfalsehoods surrounding U.S. Government immigration policy.\u201d<\/p>\n

DHS disbanded<\/a>\u00a0the Disinformation Governance Board and its director, Nina Jankowicz, resigned in disgrace after an massive outcry from conservatives, who compared the board to an Orwellian \u201cMinistry of Truth.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
