The company now anticipates\u00a0Kuiper&#8217;s first\u00a0batch of low-Earth\u00a0satellites will be launched late in 2024,\u00a0versus the early projection of the first half of this year.\u00a0Customer testing is not expected until 2025.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We expect to ship our first completed production satellites this summer, and we&#8217;re targeting our first full-scale Kuiper mission for Q4 aboard an Atlas V rocket from ULA [United Launch Alliance]. We will continue to increase our rates of satellite production and deployment heading into 2025, and we remain on track to begin offering service to customers next year,&#8221; Amazon wrote in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aboutamazon.com\/news\/innovation-at-amazon\/inside-project-kuiper-satellite-facility-kirkland\">blog post<\/a> on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>PCMag said\u00a0beta trials of the\u00a0internet-from-space service for\u00a0commercial customers were initially slated for later this year and will now begin sometime in 2025.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Amazon told the tech blog, &#8220;We expect to begin offering demonstrations to enterprise customers in early 2025.&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Amazon has not revealed the reason behind Project Kuiper&#8217;s delays, but it&#8217;s possible that the dismal testing of Jeff Bezos&#8217; Blue Origin rockets is to blame.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, SpaceX&#8217;s Starlink is soon becoming the global leader in high-speed internet from space, with a\u00a0constellation of nearly 6,000 satellites and more than three million terminals operating across 75 countries.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cms.zerohedge.com\/s3\/files\/inline-images\/71G7%2BPEsdPL.jpg?itok=_ZjWhnwB\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We recently pointed out that, using data from\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/BryceSpaceTech\">BryceTech<\/a>,\u00a0<\/em>SpaceX is leading the world&#8217;s rocket race\u2014great news for America&#8217;s rocket program. Most of the rocket launches have been boosting Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cms.zerohedge.com\/s3\/files\/inline-images\/2024-06-23_09-57-00.png?itok=AiL0JDoq\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Musk is quite literally America&#8217;s rocket program:\u00a0SpaceX launched about 429,125 kg of spacecraft upmass in the first quarter,\u00a0significantly outpacing China&#8217;s rocket program (China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation), which launched a measly\u00a029,426 kg.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cms.zerohedge.com\/s3\/files\/inline-images\/2024-06-23_09-58-53.png?itok=VnZSgi_M\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And just wait until SpaceX&#8217;s Starship is cleared for commercial launches.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Let Starship be a reminder to not bet against the greatest entrepreneur of our time, Elon fuckin Musk <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/iIrFO9nEjX\">pic.twitter.com\/iIrFO9nEjX<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Teslaconomics (@Teslaconomics) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Teslaconomics\/status\/1768282421630537895?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 14, 2024<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Bezos&#8217; Blue Origin appears to be a sore loser as it falls behind SpaceX. Last week, Musk said\u00a0Bezos&#8217; rocket company was attempting &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/technology\/jeff-bezos-blue-origin-attempts-impede-spacexs-rocket-launches-lawfare\">to impede SpaceX&#8217;s progress by lawfare<\/a>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s interesting to note that\u00a0Blue Origin was founded by Bezos in 2000. Two years later, Musk founded SpaceX, which achieved orbit in 2008.
