Kudlow On Trump’s Pro-Growth, ‘America First’ Platform<\/span><\/p>\n

Forget the Biden circus \u2014 the real headline story today is a pro-growth, \u201cAmerica First\u201d Trump platform a week ahead of the Milwaukee convention.<\/strong><\/p>\n

At the moment, the major press frenzy is whether President Biden is going to drop out of the race. For what it\u2019s worth, I don\u2019t think he will.<\/p>\n

In Mr. Biden\u2019s words, \u201cThe Lord almighty is not coming.\u201d Let me add: you can bet on that.<\/strong><\/p>\n

All this Biden speculation, though, should not be permitted to obscure the fact that the Republican National Committee, a week ahead of the Milwaukee convention, has just adopted and released President Trump\u2019s 2024 Republican Party platform.<\/p>\n

This is today\u2019s\u00a0real\u00a0<\/em>headline story. The platform carries the same kind of message that Trump has been successfully talking about for the last several years.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s pro-growth and pro-opportunity, aims to close the southern border and restore an \u201cAmerica First\u201d standing in the world. Peace through strength.<\/p>\n

The document is short, pithy, and right to the point.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

Some of the highlights include worker tax cuts and no tax on tips. Stopping Bidenflation. Restoring energy dominance. Ending unfair trade deals.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Keeping the dollar as the world\u2019s reserve currency \u2014 this is especially important for high growth and low prices \u2014 Wall Street, will you finally listen?<\/p>\n

Restoring America\u2019s status as the dominant world energy producer and canceling the electric vehicle mandate. Cutting all costly and burdensome regulations.<\/p>\n

Sealing the border, stopping the illegal migrant invasion, and deporting illegals.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Keeping men out of women\u2019s sports, and radical, racial, and sexual woke policies out of schools.<\/p>\n

The platform also states, and I quote, \u201cunite our country by bringing it to new and record levels of success.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

These are the message points that have proved so popular on the campaign trail.<\/p>\n

These are exactly the themes that Trump has used to organize a working-class coalition of Black Americans, Hispanics, Asians, young people, and women.<\/strong><\/p>\n

These were policies to successfully build on Trump\u2019s first term as President. Policies that Art Laffer, has called one of the best policies of any first term president.<\/p>\n

Tax cuts, deregulation, energy independence, superb Supreme Court picks, good trade deals, strong national security \u2014 including the Abraham Accords.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Today, amid 20 percent Bidenflation, we have an affordability crisis with falling real wages and high mortgage and credit card borrowing costs, the nationwide crime and public safety ravages of Mr. Biden\u2019s illegal immigration catastrophe, and raging fires overseas \u2014 most folks know that they were better off four or five years ago.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s Trump\u2019s message. Success is the best uniter.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
