Kathy Hochul was raided by the FBI earlier this week, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcmontana.com\/news\/nation-world\/fbi-raids-home-of-former-aide-to-ny-gov-hochul-report-says-linda-sun-who-served-as-the-deputy-chief-of-staff-to-the-governor-owned-the-manhasset-house-on-long-island-that-was-raided-by-the-fbi\">NBC<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Manhasset house was owned by\u00a0Linda Sun, who served as the deputy chief of staff to the governor, the report says.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The FBI commented earlier this week stating it had\u00a0carried out \u201ccourt-authorized law enforcement activity\u201d, but refusing to provide further details.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>NBC <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcmontana.com\/news\/nation-world\/fbi-raids-home-of-former-aide-to-ny-gov-hochul-report-says-linda-sun-who-served-as-the-deputy-chief-of-staff-to-the-governor-owned-the-manhasset-house-on-long-island-that-was-raided-by-the-fbi\">reported<\/a> that per her\u00a0LinkedIn profile, Sun served as a senior advisor on business development, legislative priorities, and &#8220;constituent affair engagement&#8221; while deputy chief of staff from 2021-22, overseeing executive operations.<\/p>\n<p>After working for the governor, Sun transitioned to the role of deputy commissioner for strategic business development at the state Department of Labor.<\/p>\n<p>In May 2023, she began working as a campaign manager, creating a budget for advertising.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cms.zerohedge.com\/s3\/files\/inline-images\/Screenshot%202024-07-26%20at%2010.17.43%E2%80%AFAM.jpg?itok=Jo7EaA8_\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Earlier this year, the FBI also raided the homes of Winnie Greco, a staffer for New York City Mayor Eric Adams, in the Bronx, according to the Associated Press.<\/p>\n<p>Greco, a former fundraiser and current director of Asian affairs for the mayor, was under investigation following allegations she promised an employee a job in exchange for renovating her kitchen, as reported by The City.<\/p>\n<p>Last year, the FBI also raided the homes of Brianna Suggs, a fundraiser for Adams, and Rana Abbasova from the mayor\u2019s international affairs office, according to the Associated Press.<\/p>\n<p>A spokesperson for Adams stated that the mayor expects ethical behavior from all employees.<\/p>\n<p>Adams&#8217; spokesperson said:\u00a0\u201cOur administration will always follow the law, and we always expect all our employees to adhere to the strictest ethical guidelines.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs we have repeatedly said, we don\u2019t comment on matters that are under review, but will fully cooperate with any review underway.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>What is going on in New York?<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>      <span class=\"field field--name-uid field--type-entity-reference field--label-hidden\"><a title=\"View user profile.\" href=\"https:\/\/cms.zerohedge.com\/users\/tyler-durden\" class=\"username\">Tyler Durden<\/a><\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"field field--name-created field--type-created field--label-hidden\">Fri, 07\/26\/2024 &#8211; 20:15<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u200b<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/markets\/former-aid-ny-governor-hochuls-house-raided-fbi\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/markets\/former-aid-ny-governor-hochuls-house-raided-fbi<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Former Aide To NY Governor Hochul&#8217;s House Raided By FBI A home of\u00a0a former aide to New York Gov.
