Donald Trump has claimed that Meta owner Mark Zuckerberg reached out to him to let him know that he admires Trump\u2019s reaction to the attempt on his life and that he won\u2019t be supporting the Democrats in the upcoming election.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Trump made the comments in a Fox News interview, noting\u00a0\u201cI was called by Mark Zuckerberg, yesterday, the day before\u2026\u00a0He actually announced that he can\u2019t support a\u00a0Democrat, because he can\u2019t because he respected me for what I did that day.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump added that Zuckerberg told him that he thought\u00a0the reaction of standing up after being shot was \u201cbrave,<\/strong>\u201d even though Trump considers it just \u201ca normal response.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump also claimed that Zuckerberg \u201cactually apologized, he said he made a mistake,\u201d<\/strong> for Facebook initially censoring the iconic image of Trump fist pumping the air.<\/p>\n

The \u2018mistake\u2019 apparently stemmed from the fact that someone altered the original image.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cI believe Mark Zuckerberg,\u201d Trump further declared, explaining \u201che called me a lot, they are working on it, and I think they fixed it, and he\u2019s not doing what he did four years ago with the $500 million,\u201d referring to huge grants Zuckerberg gave to Democrat supporting non profit organisations four years ago.<\/p>\n

Trump added that \u201cno one called from Google\u201d after it emerged that search results on the assassination attempt had been repressed.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cGoogle has been very bad<\/strong>,\u201d Trump continued, adding \u201cthey\u2019ve been very irresponsible. And I have a feeling that Google\u2019s going to be close to shut down,<\/strong> because I don\u2019t think Congress is going to take it. I really don\u2019t think so. Google has to be careful.\u201d<\/p>\n

As we previously highlighted, Zuckerberg admitted that he believes Trump\u2019s reaction after the failed assassination attempt was the one of the most \u201cbadass\u201d things he\u2019s ever witnessed.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
