But where do they all live?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.visualcapitalist.com\/mapped-the-number-of-u-s-billionaires-in-each-state\/\">Visual Capitalist&#8217;s Pallavi Rao maps<\/a> the number of billionaires in each state, as of 2023, with data sourced from Forbes, accessed via\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/worldpopulationreview.com\/state-rankings\/most-billionaires-by-state\">World Population Review<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cms.zerohedge.com\/s3\/files\/inline-images\/VORO_U.-Billionaires-By-State_SI.jpg?itok=nf1v-NDm\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Ranked: U.S. States By Billionaire Residents<\/h2>\n<p>There are 760 billionaires in the U.S., of which 472 (62%) live in just four states: California, New York, Florida, and Texas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>California<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>New York<\/strong>\u00a0are the only states with 100+ billionaires. The company is one of the largest in the world for manufacturing pressure-treated wood.<\/p>\n<p>Billionaires are also on the move recently. America\u2019s richest person, Elon Musk (worth $260 billion) lives in Texas, after bidding goodbye to the California in 2020.
