UK Man Arrested For Social Media Posts Containing “Anti-Establishment Rhetoric”<\/span><\/p>\n

The BBC reports that a 40-year-old man has been arrested and criminally charged for social media posts that contained \u201canti-establishment rhetoric.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wayne O\u2019Rourke becomes the latest example of the wave of authoritarian hysteria to impact free speech in the UK following the recent anti-mass migration riots.<\/p>\n

O\u2019Rourke was arrested on Sunday in connection with \u201cposts made from a social media account,\u201d <\/strong>according to Lincolnshire Police.<\/p>\n

\u201cNottingham Magistrates\u2019 Court heard the posts were alleged to contain anti-Muslim and anti-establishment rhetoric,\u201d reports the BBC<\/a>.<\/p>\n

O\u2019Rourke had nearly 100,000 followers on X and predicted his own arrest days beforehand.<\/p>\n

So now apparently posting \u201canti-establishment rhetoric\u201d in the United Kingdom is enough to get you locked up.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The report does not give any specifics of what the thought criminal actually posted, but he had \u201callegedly expressed support for the recent riots and offered advice on how to remain anonymous to his 90,000 followers.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wayne O\u2019Rourke, 40, whose @X<\/a> handle is believed to be @WayneGb88<\/a> was arrested in Lincoln, on Sunday.<\/p>\n

O\u2019Rourke will appear at Lincoln Crown Court tomorrow to face charges of \u201cpublishing written material online to stir up racial hatred.\u201d<\/p>\n

As we highlighted<\/a> yesterday, A 61-year-old man in the UK was jailed for 18 months for chanting \u201cwho the fuck is Allah\u201d and telling police officers \u201cyou\u2019re not English anymore\u201d during a protest outside Downing Street.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Another man was imprisoned for 2 months merely for posting the words \u201ccoming to a town near you\u201d alongside images of Muslim men on Facebook.<\/p>\n

The legacy media continues to offer rolling, around the clock coverage of the charges being handed out to people who posted offensive content online, seemingly in an effort to act as a warning to others.<\/p>\n

Children as young as 12-years-old have also been charged in connection with the riots, as authorities warn that merely observing a riot taking place and not even taking part in it is enough to bring criminal charges against someone.<\/p>\n
