Harris’s Kamunist Agenda Faces Harsh Reality<\/span><\/p>\n

Don\u2019t cry for me, Argentina.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Cry for Kamala the\u00a0Kamunist<\/a>.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

It took them a while, it\u2019s true, but at least Argentina has someone with a rudimentary knowledge of economics in charge.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Indeed, Javier Milei, one of my favorite leaders on the world stage today (along with Viktor Orb\u00e1n, Benjamin Netanyahu, Georgia Meloni, and Nayib Bukele) is a Trump-like dynamo.\u00a0 If I had a more developed entrepreneurial bent, I would try marketing a line of\u00a0Milei chainsaws<\/a>\u00a0in the United States.\u00a0 Just as he took a chainsaw (sometimes literally) to excessive spending, regulation, and bureaucracy in Argentina, so my Milei Chainsaws could be employed against waste, fraud, and abuse here across the fruited plain. Milei\u2019s robust policies have put Argentina on the runway to economic success. They have slashed inflation\u2014some 200% when he took office\u2014and his\u00a0abolition of rent control<\/a>\u2014surprise, surprise\u2014has sparked a 195% rise in available housing stock.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the socialists funneling ideas to Harris have put together an economic plan redolent of Venezuela or, indeed, the Soviet Union.\u00a0 Its centerpiece revolves around centrally promulgated and enforced wage and price controls\u2014a recipe for shortages and inflation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The plan itself has been ridiculed across the ideological spectrum, from CNN to\u00a0The Wall Street Journal.\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>\u201cHarris\u2019 plan to stop price gouging,\u201d\u00a0quoth CNN<\/a>\u00a0in a masterpiece of understatement,\u00a0 \u201ccould create more problems than it solves.\u201d<\/p>\n

The\u00a0WSJ was a bit franker<\/a>. For one thing, there is \u201cno evidence that supermarkets or other food retailers are gouging anyone. Food prices are higher than they were before the Biden Presidency, but that is because of inflation.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

And who caused that inflation, Kemo Sabe? The man with the keys to the money duplicating machine, Joe Biden or his handlers.<\/p>\n

Moreover, \u201cfixing prices is a recipe for shortages, as controls would discourage grocery suppliers. Voil\u00e0, empty store shelves. Price controls have led to shortages everywhere they\u2019ve been tried, from Moscow to Caracas.\u201d<\/p>\n

Some of the propaganda press\u2014The New York Times<\/em>, MSNBC, etc\u2014have been working overtime to keep up a brave face. <\/strong>The low hum you hear is the hydrogen pumps shooting gas into the leaky balloon of the Democrat consortium.\u00a0 As I have noted ever since Kamala was plucked out of the bin marked \u201cridiculous\u201d and dusted off as the mannequin\u2019s understudy, the intoxicating paroxysms of glee that convulsed the left-leaning media pundits was but a\u00a0sugar-high<\/a>. It induced feelings of giddiness but could not last.\u00a0 I thought it would probably linger through the DNC convention next week, but the manic phase is already passing the stupor consequent on the sudden drop in energy has set in.<\/p>\n

The depressive funk is not helped by the Harris campaign\u2019s strategy of \u201cout-of-sight-out-of-mind.\u201d <\/strong>They concluded that it worked with Joe Biden in 2020, and so they thought they would try it again.\u00a0 But there is no COVID emergency to shut the country down this time around and it is pretty clear that the Dems\u2019 basement strategy cannot be successfully dusted off and applied to Kamala.\u00a0 True, she is nearly as inarticulate as Biden, but the public will not put up with the Wizard of Oz gambit a second time.<\/p>\n

Besides, Team Trump is wheeling out all sorts of embarrassing things that will destroy Harris if they are not effectively answered.\u00a0<\/p>\n

For example, a\u00a0clip of Harris<\/a>\u00a0discussing her support of the government taking over private patents by fiat has surfaced and is being industriously circulated.<\/p>\n

I will snatch their patents, so that we [the American government] will take over.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Yes we can do that!<\/em><\/p>\n

The question is: \u2018Do you have the will to do it\u2019!?<\/em><\/p>\n

I have the will to do it.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Noted.<\/p>\n

I almost feel sorry for Harris, emphasis on the adverb.\u00a0\u00a0Reports<\/a>\u00a0are that 100,000 protestors are set to converge on Chicago next week to torch the city and torment Democrat convention-goers. Will it be a bigger, badder version of what happened in Chicago in 1968?\u00a0 That time, golden boy Hubert Humphrey* \u00a0went in on a cloud of fairy dust and came out of the convention 20 points behind Nixon.<\/p>\n

Efforts to paint Trump and JD as \u201cweird<\/a>\u201d have failed miserably, as have the embarrassing efforts to gild the Harris-Walz socialist platform and history of failure by\u00a0stealing various Trump<\/a>\u00a0ideas like exempting tips from federal income tax.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Even more damaging have been the mounting attacks by conservatives on the whole Harris-Walz concession.\u00a0 Governor Walz has turned out to be a special kind of liability, a sick freak who\u00a0orders schools to put tampons in boys\u2019 bathrooms<\/a>\u00a0while sitting back and\u00a0watching Minneapolis burn<\/a>\u00a0as the BLM rioters rampaged through the city. His patina of plaid, dad-like folksiness is completely belied by his sympathy for Communist China not to mention his personal inclinations.<\/p>\n

Why was Walz picked as Harris\u2019s running mate in the first place?\u00a0 One midwestern friend might have hit upon the answer.\u00a0 Tim Walz, he said, was what the coastal elites of this country believe a midwesterner looks and acts like.\u00a0 He has all the \u201cprogressive\u201d attitudes of the left, but he articulates them accoutered in a more string-tie, aw-shucks manner<\/strong><\/p>\n

I expected a certain amount of small-caliber fire by now, but it turns out that Trump supporters are already pounding Harris-Walz with heavy artillery.\u00a0 For example, speaking on \u201cThe Five\u201d just a few days ago,\u00a0Greg Gutfeld utterly vaporized<\/a>\u00a0Harris\u2019s record on the border, inflation, and other issues.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s coming will not be pretty. But I predict that it will be cathartic.<\/strong>\u00a0 It\u2019s hard to know just how much of a hose Trump\u2019s victory will be for the rank Augean stables of Democrat incumbency. Doubtless, many clumps of ordure will remain.\u00a0 Many, however, will be flushed into the impatient, rushing currents of change.\u00a0 I am looking forward to it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
