Elissa Slotkin (D-MI) has privately warned donors that Vice President Kamala Harris is \u201cunderwater\u201d in Michigan <\/strong>– a critical battleground state for Democrats – according to a video clip obtained by the outlet. Slotkin’s revelation comes at a time when the Dems are fighting tooth and nail to hold onto the Senate, and Michigan could be a deciding factor.<\/p>\n

During a virtual fundraiser last Wednesday with Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ), Slotkin didn\u2019t mince words<\/strong>. “I’m not feeling my best right now about where we are on Kamala Harris in a place like Michigan,” she admitted, further stating that their internal polling shows Harris sinking in the Wolverine State.<\/strong> The news comes as a blow Democrats as they eye a tough Senate race where Slotkin herself is vying for a seat against GOP contender, former Rep. Mike Rogers (R-MI).<\/p>\n
