Meta\u2019s senior software engineer recently admitted to an undercover journalist at O\u2019Keeffe Media Group that Facebook censors conservatives.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jeevan Gyawali added that those who oppose Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris in their posts would see their accounts shadowbanned and their posts demoted.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cSay your uncle in Ohio said something about Kamala Harris [being] unfit to be a president because she doesn\u2019t have a child. That kind of s**t is automatically demoted<\/strong>,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Gyawali also claimed that the person \u201cwould not be notified\u201d about what happened<\/strong>, meaning his account would be shadowbanned. During the conversation with the undercover journalist, he also mentioned Meta\u2019s \u201cIntegrity Team,\u201d a team that censors content through \u201ccivic classifiers,\u201d a system meant to shadowban those who disagree with the status quo.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat means if anything is related to political content, it\u2019s automatically not shown<\/strong>,\u201d he said, explaining what he meant by \u201ccivic classifiers.\u201d \u201cThere is a SWAT team that\u2019s already set up since April\u2026 just to think about all the scenarios of how the platform could be abused.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gyawali also admitted that Meta can influence the 2024 election, just like they did<\/a> in 2020. He also claimed that founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg supports the censorship of conservatives.\u00a0<\/p>\n

James O\u2019Keefe also published another video in which he called Gyawali to inform him that the woman who he thought was just his date was an undercover journalist.<\/p>\n

James O’Keefe contacted Jeevan Gyawali to request comment regarding hidden camera footage in which Gyawali discusses Meta’s censorship practices. Upon hearing the details, Gyawali responded, “Ah, f*ck,” before quickly ending the call.<\/p>\n

Donald Trump has previously stated<\/a> that he would put Zuckerberg behind bars if he illegally influenced the 2024 election.<\/p>\n

After that, Zuckerberg tried to do everything possible to restore<\/a> his reputation in Trump\u2019s eyes, even telling<\/a> Trump that he would never vote for a Democrat this election cycle.<\/strong><\/p>\n
