Friedman Agnifilo, a seasoned Manhattan legal heavyweight and former high-ranking deputy in the district attorney\u2019s office, was retained to represent the 26-year-old suspect.<\/strong> Her law firm, Agnifilo Intrater LLP, confirmed her involvement but stated she would not be commenting on the case at this time.<\/p>\n

Mangione\u2019s arrest on Monday\u2014inside a Pennsylvania McDonald\u2019s where a customer recognized him from police bulletins\u2014rocked both the legal world and the business elite. Police allege Mangione was armed and in possession of writings and a mask tying him to the Dec. 4 ambush outside the New York Hilton Midtown, where Thompson was gunned down as he arrived for an investor conference.<\/strong><\/p>\n
