Trump Border Czar: Mass Deportations Of Illegals Starts Day One<\/span><\/p>\n

President Trump\u2019s incoming border czar Tom Homan unequivocally outlined that mass arrests and deportations of illegal immigrants inside the US will begin on day one of Trump\u2019s second term and will not be delayed under any circumstances.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In an interview with CBS News, Homan asserted \u201cWe know where a lot of the criminals are. ICE is great at this work, we know where some are, but they simply haven\u2019t been able to go arrest them because Secretary Mayorkas\u2019s priorities have handcuffed ICE.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe know where a lot of the criminals are, they have been prevented from arresting. We are gonna arrest starting day one,\u201d Homan reiterated.<\/p>\n

Homan further noted that sanctuary cities refuse to work with ICE, stating \u201dWe would love to work in local jails, but sanctuary cities won\u2019t allow us into those jails. It\u2019s much easier to arrest a public safety threat in the safety and security in the public jail than out in the street.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Tom Homan, who will be President-elect Donald Trump’s “border czar,” says the administration will concentrate on “public safety threats and national security threats” in its plans for mass deportations starting on “day one.”<\/p>\n

Anchor Margaret Brennan then asked Homan what will happen if the illegals are not accepted back by their home countries.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhere do you send people because some of these countries, like Venezuela, don\u2019t accept deportations right now?\u201d Brennan asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cFirst of all, we got President Trump coming into the Oval Office, and he has proven during his first administration his leadership,\u201d Homan responded adding \u201cIt took President Trump 48 hours to get El Salvador to take back their criminal aliens into their prisons.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cMexico didn\u2019t want to do the \u2018Remain in Mexico\u2019 program, but President Trump was able to get \u2018Remain in Mexico\u2019 established in Mexico. He was able to get Mexico [to] put military in the southern and northern border,\u201d Homan added.<\/p>\n

He continued, \u201cThis administration has not forced these countries to take them back and we have what we call a third safe country. We already have countries talking about taking back people from other countries. For instance Venezuela doesn\u2019t take their people back. There\u2019s other ways we can do it. There\u2019s other countries [who\u2019d] be willing to accept them.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re hoping that President Trump will work with Venezuela like he did with Mexico and El Salvador and get these countries to take them back. If they don\u2019t, they\u2019re still gonna be deported, they\u2019re just gonna be deported to a different country,\u201d Homan further asserted.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re not gonna be held up on removing public safety threats in this country. We have to put the safety of the American people first,\u201d<\/strong><\/em> Homan emphasised, adding \u201cWe\u2019ve had too many young women murdered and raped and burned alive by members of Venezuelan gangs. They need to be a priority under this administration. It\u2019s [going to] be a priority starting day one and they will be deported.\u201d<\/p>\n

Incoming “border czar” Tom Homan says he hopes President-elect Donald Trump will work with Venezuela on an agreement to take back citizens who are being deported from the U.S., as Trump previously did for El Salvador and Mexico.<\/p>\n

As we have previously highlighted, insiders say Trump already has deals in place to send illegals to\u00a0Turks and Caicos, the Bahamas, Grenada, Panama or possibly elsewhere should their home countries refuse to take them back.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

At one point during the interview, Brennan suggested Trump isn\u2019t as strong on deportations as Homan indicates by suggesting that Biden had more deportations than during Trump\u2019s first term.<\/p>\n

Homan noted that\u00a080 percent of the Biden administration\u2019s \u2018deportation\u2019 numbers are from Border Patrol arrests\u00a0that were moved back across the southern border.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey weren\u2019t interior enforcement arrests,\u201d<\/strong><\/em> he said, adding\u00a0the Biden administration is \u201cplaying a numbers game.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cYou can compare the number of deportations under Trump versus Biden. When you consider a 45-year low in crossings,\u00a0the number of deportations [is] going to be lower\u00a0because we don\u2019t have that population to process and deport,\u201d Homan also pointed out.<\/p>\n
