Both President Trump and White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt have stated that the Department Of Government Efficiency has made a massive discovery, with Trump calling it \u201chorrible.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

Speaking from the podium Tuesday, Leavitt said \u201cThere has been a discovery. I hate to leave you hanging on a cliff but I don\u2019t want to get ahead of the president on that.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I can confirm there has been a discovery but it\u2019s just not quite ready for release,\u201d <\/strong><\/em>she added.<\/p>\n

The comments came after Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One that DOGE found something \u201chorrible.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have found hundreds \u2013 think of it \u2013 just hundreds of millions of dollars of fraud and abuse and waste. They\u2019re still going strong. They found something today that is horrible, it\u2019s horrible,\u201d Trump said, without elaborating.<\/p>\n

When a reporter asked what it was, Trump remained coy.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo what we found \u2013 so you\u2019ll find out very soon. What they found is incredible and I give [Elon] a lot of credit. He has some very smart people with him,\u201d Trump said, adding \u201cI want Elon to stay as long as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n
