Mexico\u00a0<\/strong>retains its position as the world\u2019s leading silver producer, mining\u00a0202.2 million ounces (Moz)<\/strong>\u2014accounting for nearly a quarter of the world\u2019s total supply. The country\u2019s\u00a0deep-rooted silver mining history<\/a>, rich reserves, and active mining sector keep it at the forefront of global production.<\/p>\n

China<\/strong>\u00a0followed as the second-largest silver producer with\u00a0109.3 Moz<\/strong>.\u00a0In third place,\u00a0Peru<\/strong>\u00a0is closely behind at\u00a0107.1 Moz<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

After Peru, South America is home to some of the world\u2019s other most significant silver producers, such as\u00a0Chile\u00a0<\/strong>with\u00a052.0 Moz\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Bolivia\u00a0<\/strong>with\u00a042.6 Moz,\u00a0<\/strong>which\u00a0<\/strong>round out the top five.<\/p>\n
