Top Two MMR-Vaccinated States Lead In 2025 Measles Cases<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"clearfix text-formatted field field--name-body field--type-text-with-summary field--label-hidden field__item\">\n<p><em><a href=\"https:\/\/jonfleetwood.substack.com\/p\/two-states-with-greatest-mmr-vaccination\">Via JonFleetwood.com,<\/a> <\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Texas and New Mexico have had the sharpest increase in measles (MMR) vaccination so far in 2025 &#8211; they\u2019ve also had the most measles cases.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cms.zerohedge.com\/s3\/files\/inline-images\/httpssubstack-post-media.s3.amaz%20%2852%29_2.jpg?itok=HBDjGX4C\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>That <strong>raises serious questions about what\u2019s really driving these outbreaks<\/strong> &#8211; and whether the mainstream \u201csolution\u201d is making the problem worse.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Increased Vaccinations<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Texas:<\/strong>\u00a0From January 1 to March 16, 2025, Texas\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/texas\/news\/texas-measles-outbreak-expected-to-last-months-vaccinations-up-from-last-year\/\">administered<\/a>\u00a0at least 173,000 doses of the measles vaccine, up from 158,000 during the same period in 2024\u2014a roughly\u00a0<strong>9.5% increase<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>New Mexico:<\/strong>\u00a0According to the New Mexico Department of Health, between February 1 and March 31, 2025, 14,757 doses of the MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) vaccine were\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nmpoliticalreport.com\/2025\/04\/02\/measles-cases-tick-up-vaccinations-outpace-same-time-period-last-year\/\">administered<\/a>\u00a0in New Mexico, compared to 8,162 during the same period in 2024\u2014an\u00a0<strong>80.8% increase<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Increased Cases<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Texas<\/strong>\u00a0is the clear epicenter, with\u00a0<strong>709 cases<\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/sections\/shots-health-news\/2025\/05\/09\/nx-s1-5393762\/measles-math-what-to-know-about-1-001-measles-cases-across-the-country\">reported<\/a>\u00a0as of early May, far surpassing any other state.<\/p>\n<p><strong>New Mexico<\/strong>\u00a0has reported 71 confirmed measles cases, as of early May 2025,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nmhealth.org\/news\/alert\/2025\/5\/?view=2211\">confirmed<\/a>\u00a0by the New Mexico Department of Health.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Live Virus, Live Risk: Infections Emerging After MMR Vaccination Campaigns Raise Alarms<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>JonFleetwood.com\u00a0is exclusively keeping a running list of troubling patterns linking measles infections to recent government-led MMR vaccination campaigns across North America:<\/p>\n<p>The MMR vaccine contains a live measles virus, according to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.merck.com\/product\/usa\/pi_circulars\/m\/mmr_ii\/mmr_ii_pi.pdf\">manufacturer<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The live measles virus in the MMR vaccine is the product of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/jonfleetwood.substack.com\/p\/measles-vaccine-and-gain-of-function?utm_source=publication-search\">gain-of-function<\/a>\u00a0(GOF) laboratory experiments, meaning it is deliberately engineered to enhance its ability to infect more human cells than the wild-type measles virus can and may retain characteristics that enable transmission and replication in the vaccinated and unvaccinated alike.<\/p>\n<p>The live virus in the vaccine\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/jonfleetwood.substack.com\/p\/measles-vaccine-sheds-for-nearly?utm_source=publication-search\">can be shed for weeks<\/a>\u00a0from the vaccinated, potentially infecting the unvaccinated. A 1995 CDC\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/articles\/PMC228449\/pdf\/332485.pdf\">study<\/a>\u00a0found that 83% of vaccinated children had measles virus shed in their urine. An April 2012 publication in the peer-reviewed journal\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC3381670\/\">Paediatrics &amp; Child Health<\/a><\/em>\u00a0reported a child was being investigated after developing a new-onset measles-type rash after receiving a measles vaccine, meaning the shot can cause disease in the vaccinated. Nucleic acid testing confirmed that a \u201cvaccine-type measles virus was being shed in the [child\u2019s] urine.\u201d A 2014 study in\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/academic.oup.com\/cid\/article-abstract\/58\/9\/1205\/2895266?redirectedFrom=fulltext\">Clinical Infectious Diseases<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>confirms that vaccinated individuals can transmit measles to multiple contacts.<\/p>\n<p>There are\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/jonfleetwood.substack.com\/p\/no-peer-reviewed-studies-confirm\">no peer-reviewed studies<\/a>\u00a0that confirm the virus in the measles vaccine is less infectious or replicates less in humans than the wild-type virus found in nature, meaning health officials have no scientific basis for claiming the vaccine strain poses a lower transmission risk to the unvaccinated.<\/p>\n<p>The claim that many of these measles cases are from wild-type measles viruses and not the live virus in the vaccine is undermined by the fact that the PCR test used as evidence of wild-type infection is only reliable\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/jonfleetwood.substack.com\/p\/pcr-test-now-being-used-to-detect?utm_source=publication-search\">less than<\/a>\u00a03% of the time. Research in\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.microbiologyresearch.org\/content\/journal\/acmi\/10.1099\/acmi.0.000283\">Access Microbiology<\/a><\/em>\u00a0highlights that standard PCR assays might not effectively distinguish between vaccine and wild-type strains.
