US-Based Monitor Assesses Rising Iranian Deaths From Israeli Strikes<\/span><\/p>\n

Human Rights Activists in Iran (HRAI), a US-based organization that\u2019s critical of Iran\u2019s Islamic government,\u00a0said on Thursday\u00a0<\/a>that since Israel began its attacks on June 13, at least 639 Iranians have been killed and 1,329 have been wounded<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Iranian government hasn\u2019t released official numbers since Sunday, when it said\u00a0224 people had been killed<\/a>\u00a0and claimed 90% were civilians.<\/p>\n

According to the HRAI\u2019s new agency,\u00a0HRANA<\/em>, at least 263 civilians and 154 military personnel have been killed<\/strong>, and 222 deaths remain unclassified<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0HRANA<\/em>\u00a0said that Israeli attacks have struck targets across 21 out of 31 of Iran\u2019s provinces. It said that it recorded a series of Israeli attacks on civilian areas and infrastructure on Wednesday, including scientific research centers, nuclear facilities, airports, and fuel storage facilities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Other civilian targets Israel has hit in recent days include\u00a0Iran\u2019s national TV broadcaster<\/a>\u00a0and a\u00a0hospital<\/a>, and at least three\u00a0Red Crescent\u00a0<\/a>workers were killed during rescue operations.<\/p>\n

Israeli missiles have also\u00a0struck residential buildings<\/a>, attacks that have killed many women and children.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0HRANA<\/em>\u00a0also recorded attacks on multiple military targets, including a missile ammunition depot, an Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) barracks, a university affiliated with the IRGC, a police station, and other military installations.<\/p>\n

When Israel launched its first wave of airstrikes, it took out multiple senior military officials, including the commander of the IRGC and the chief of staff of the Iranian Armed Forces.<\/p>\n

Destruction in Israel from Iranian ballistic missiles, which have also at times targeted civilian neighborhoods, via Al Jazeera.<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n

According to the latest reports, Iranian retaliatory attacks on Israel<\/a> have\u00a0killed at least 24 people\u00a0and have wounded hundreds<\/strong>. An Iranian missile struck a hospital in southern Israel on Thursday, wounding dozens.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
