Home Depot co-founder Ken Langone, one of the nation\u2019s most successful business owners, shocked CNBC hosts Tuesday by declaring that he is now completely in awe of President Trump.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

Langone, who last year stated that he wouldn\u2019t vote for Trump proclaimed \u201cI am sold on Trump \u2026 I think he\u2019s got a good shot at going down in history as one of our best presidents ever.\u201d<\/p>\n

The stunned CNBC host noted \u201cThat is a REAL turnaround, because you didn\u2019t want to vote for him!\u201d<\/p>\n

He further urged, \u201cAnd there\u2019s a beat. People are walking with more bounce\u2026I think this guy is turning out to be a [great] president.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Langone has also flipped on Trump\u2019s tariffs, noting \u201cInitially, my concern was, I DON\u2019T like tariffs\u2026however, dammit, give Trump credit! His instincts are good! Some of these things need to be fixed!\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Langone further emphasised \u201cWhen you made a mistake, admit it,\u201d also revealing that he is in favour of Trump\u2019s One Big Beautiful Bill.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was worried about inflation and the deficit, but I think it might trigger such significant economic growth that we could see tax revenues going up through the profitability bracket,\u201d <\/strong><\/em>Langone noted.<\/p>\n

Back in May, Home Depot announced that it doesn\u2019t expect to boost prices because of tariffs.<\/p>\n
