VDH: The World Woke Up<\/span><\/p>\n

In less than\u00a0six months,\u00a0the entire world has been turned upside down.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There is no longer such a thing as conventional wisdom or the status quo.<\/p>\n

The unthinkable has become the banal.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

Take illegal immigration\u2014remember\u00a0the 10,000\u00a0daily\u00a0illegal entries\u00a0under Biden?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Recall the only solution was supposedly \u201ccomprehensive immigration reform\u201d\u2014a euphemism for mass amnesties.<\/p>\n

Now, there is no such thing as daily new illegal immigration.<\/p>\n

It simply disappeared with common-sense enforcement of existing immigration laws\u2014and a new president.<\/p>\n

How about the 40,000-50,000 shortfall in military recruitment?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Remember all the causes that the generals cited for their inability to enlist soldiers: generational gangs, obesity, drugs, and stiff\u00a0competition\u00a0with private industry?<\/p>\n

And now?<\/p>\n

In just six months, recruitment targets are already met; the issue is mostly moot.<\/p>\n

Why? The new Pentagon flipped the old, canceling its racist DEI programs\u00a0and assuring the rural, middle-class Americans\u2014especially white males\u2014that they were not\u00a0systemically\u00a0racist after all.<\/p>\n

Instead, they were reinvited to enlist as the critical combat cohort who died at twice their\u00a0demographic share\u00a0in Iraq and Afghanistan.<\/p>\n

How about the \u201cend of\u00a0the NATO crisis,\u201d supposedly\u00a0brought on by\u00a0a bullying U.S.?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Now the vast majority of NATO members have met their pledges to spend\u00a0two\u00a0percent of GDP on defense, which will soon\u00a0increase to\u00a0five percent.<\/p>\n

Iconic neutrals like Sweden and Finland have\u00a0become frontline NATO nations, arming to the teeth. The smiling NATO Secretary-General\u00a0even\u00a0called Trump the \u201cdaddy\u201d of the alliance.<\/p>\n

What about\u00a0indomitable, all-powerful,\u00a0theocratic Iran, the scourge of the Middle East for nearly fifty years?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Although it had never won a war\u00a0in the last half-century, its terrorist surrogates\u2014Hezbollah, Hamas,\u00a0and\u00a0the Houthis\u2014were supposedly too\u00a0dangerous\u00a0to provoke.<\/p>\n

Now?<\/p>\n

Most of their expeditionary terrorists are neutered,\u00a0and\u00a0their leaders\u00a0are\u00a0in hiding or dead.<\/p>\n

Iran has no air force, no real navy, no air defenses, and no active nuclear weapons\u00a0program.<\/p>\n

Its safety apparently depends only on the mood of the U.S. or Israel on any given day,\u00a0not to fly into its airspace and take out\u00a0its\u00a0missiles, nuclear sites, generals, or theocrats\u00a0at will.<\/p>\n

What happened to the supposedly inevitable recession,\u00a0hyperinflation, stock market collapse, unemployment spikes, and global trade war that last spring economists assured us would hit by summer?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Job growth is strong, and April\u2019s inflation rate is the lowest in four years. GDP is still steady. The stock market hit a record high. Trade partners are renegotiating their surpluses with the U.S.<\/p>\n

It turns out\u00a0that\u00a0staying in the U.S. consumer market is the\u00a0top priority\u00a0of our trading partners.<\/p>\n

It seems their preexisting and mostly\u00a0undisclosed\u00a0profits were\u00a0large enough to afford reasonable U.S. symmetrical tariffs.<\/p>\n

For now, news of tax cuts,\u00a0deregulation, \u2018drill baby, drill\u2019 energy policies displacing\u00a0Green New Deal strangulation, and\u00a0$8\u201310 trillion in\u00a0potential\u00a0foreign investment\u00a0has encouraged\u2014rather than\u00a0deterred\u2014business.<\/p>\n

Then there were our marquee elite universities, whose prestige, riches, and powerful alumni\u00a0made them\u00a0answerable to\u00a0no one.<\/strong><\/p>\n

And now,\u00a0after the executive and congressional crackdown on their decades of hubris?<\/p>\n

Supposedly brilliant university presidents have resigned in shame.<\/p>\n

The public has caught on to their grant surcharge gouging.<\/p>\n

Campuses have backed off their arrogant defiance of the Supreme Court\u2019s civil rights rulings.<\/strong><\/p>\n

They are panicked about\u00a0the\u00a0public exposure of their systemic\u00a0anti-Semitism.<\/p>\n

They are scrambling to explain away their institutionalized ideological bias\u00a0and their tawdry\u00a0profit-making\u00a0schemes\u00a0and mass recruitment of\u00a0wealthy\u00a0foreign students from illiberal regimes.<\/p>\n

So, the mighty Ivy League\u00a0powerhouses are now humbling themselves\u00a0to\u00a0cut a deal to save their financial hides and hopefully return to their proper mission of disinterested education.<\/p>\n

What\u00a0happened\u00a0to the trans juggernaut of sex as a social construct and its bookend gospel that biological men could dominate women\u2019s sports?<\/p>\n

People woke up. They\u00a0were no longer afraid to state\u00a0that sex is binary and biologically determined. And biological men who dominate women\u2019s\u00a0sports are bullies,\u00a0not heroes.<\/p>\n

Where\u00a0are the millionaire scamming architects of BLM\u00a0now?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Where is the \u201cDEI now, tomorrow, and forever\u201d conventional wisdom?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Where\u00a0are Professor\u00a0Kendi and his $30,000\u00a0Zoom\u00a0lessons on how to fight racism by being\u00a0racist?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

They\u00a0have all been exposed as\u00a0the race hustlers they always were.<\/p>\n

Their creed that it is\u00a0okay\u00a0for supposed victims to be\u00a0racist victimizers themselves\u00a0was exposed as an absurd con.<\/p>\n

So, what flipped everything?<\/strong><\/p>\n

We were living in an \u201cemperor has no clothes\u201d make-believe world\u00a0for\u00a0the last few years.<\/p>\n

The people knew establishment narratives were absurd, and our supposed experts were even more ridiculous.<\/p>\n

But few\u2014until now\u2014had the guts to scream \u201cthe emperor is naked\u201d to dispel the fantasies.<\/strong><\/p>\n

When they finally did, reality returned.<\/p>\n
