Feb. 23—Between them, they’ve won the last seven Schuylkill League girls’ basketball championships. North Schuylkill is the defending champion. Jim Thorpe, last year’s runner-up, won in 2019. Mahanoy Area was the 2018 champion, and Minersville, the 2017 PIAA Class AA state champion, won its second consecutive league title that year. In 2015 it was North Schuylkill and in 2014 Minersville.
