Jonathan Mingo’s name seemed like it’d be important on Christmas Day.<\/p>\n

The Dallas Cowboys<\/a> had WR Ryan Flournoy inactive. A week ago, it was Mingo who played the most behind CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens after Flournoy left the game.<\/p>\n

But on Thursday, that wasn’t the case.<\/p>\n

Flournoy was out from the start of the contest, but Mingo didn’t see early action.<\/p>\n

Is Jonathan Mingo playing today?<\/h2>\n

Mingo is active on Thursday, but whether he’s playing is a bit more mysterious.<\/p>\n

As best as could be seen on the Netflix broadcast, Mingo didn’t play a snap in the first half.<\/p>\n

The unexpected part of this: Jalen Tolbert.<\/p>\n

Tolbert has been on the field as the WR3 often. That was in place of whatever role Mingo was expected to have.<\/p>\n

It’s not clear whether Mingo was hurt, or under the weather, or if he just wasn’t a part of the gameplan.<\/p>\n

The end result was a lot of Tolbert and no Mingo in the first half.<\/p>\n
