For the first time since the 1980 “Miracle on Ice,” the U.S. men’s Olympic hockey team captured the gold medal, defeating rival Canada, 2-1, in an overtime thriller on Sunday. So, you best believe that the U.S. men were ready to celebrate that bit of history in Milan. <\/p>\n
All you had to do was look at Vincent Trocheck to confirm as much. <\/p>\n
As Team USA was receiving their gold medals, the NBC broadcast panned over to the players. And we could see as the Rangers forward waved to someone in the crowd and had quite the celebratory message to whomever he was speaking to. <\/p>\n
