PSG goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier (24) is at serious risk of losing out on a spot in Didier Deschamps\u2019 World Cup squad for France, according to\u00a0L\u2019Equipe<\/a>.\u00a0<\/strong>The former Lille goalkeeper is no longer the undisputed starter<\/a> between the PSG sticks for a while now. But his playing time with the Champions League winners has drastically decreased recently with Matvey Safonov having featured for every PSG games since February 1st.<\/p>\n PSG head coach Luis Enrique rotated his side for Saturday\u2019s Ligue 1 game against bottom-placed Metz (3-0), but once again, Chevalier was overlooked with Safonov given the nod.\u00a0L\u2019Equipe\u00a0<\/strong>understands that Chevalier\u2019s situation has sent alarm bells ringing within France\u2019s coaching set-up.<\/a><\/p>\n The outlet adds that, if Chevalier does not swing the situation in his favour, he has very little chance of being called up for France\u2019s international break in March, when Les Bleus\u00a0<\/em>will fly out to the USA. It\u2019s also unlikely Deschamps calls up an out-of-rythm goalkeeper whose confidence has taken a hit for what would be his final tournament as France\u2019s manager.
