There were some huge TSSAA basketball<\/a> and TSSAA wrestling state championship<\/a> performances last week.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Landon Lester, Battle Creek:<\/strong> Lester had 18 points, six rebounds and two steals in a 65-59 defeat to Montgomery Central.<\/p>\n

Reed Loefell, Brentwood: <\/strong>Loefell upset top-seeded Tristan Collier from Green Hill, 9-1, in the Class AA 138-pound state final at the TSSAA wrestling state championship.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Braylon Marshall, Macon County:<\/strong> Marshall led Macon County with 24 points, including one 3-pointer.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Brodie Melzoni, Nolensville: <\/strong>Melzoni won his second consecutive TSSAA wrestling state championship with a 4-1 win in the boys Class AA 175-pound final over Knoxville Halls\u2019 Barrett Whaley.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Owen Looney, Page:<\/strong> Looney scored 19 points with five 3-pointers in a 73-66 overtime win over Summit.\u00a0<\/p>\n

JD Longley, Ravenwood:<\/strong> Longley won the 144-pound TSSAA wrestling state title with a 4-1 decision over Blackman’s Landon McLean. <\/p>\n

Zachery Little, Summit:<\/strong> Little won his second straight Class AA wrestling state title, claiming 5-3 decision over Kirkwood\u2019s Luke Louzenksy at 157 pounds.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Nate Graham, Station Camp:<\/strong> Graham won his second straight wrestling state title, pinning Soddy Daisy\u2019s Luke Myhan in 1:00 at 113 pounds in Class A.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Gage Gibbs, Trousdale County:<\/strong> Gibbs led all scorers with 40 points, including three 3-pointers, in a win over Knowledge Academies.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Lukas Price, Tullahoma:<\/strong> Price added 15 points, three rebounds, one assist and one steal in a 72-54 win over Lawrence County.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Jeffrey Whittaker, White House Heritage:<\/strong> Whittaker led the Patriots with 25 points in a win over KIPP Nashville.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
