Dolittle is an American adventure, comedy and fantasy film directed by Stephen Gaghan and written by Gaghan and Thomas Shepherd. It is based on the character Doctor Dolittle created by Hugh Lofting, and is based mainly on The Voyages of Doctor Dolittle, second book with stories of the character. Robert Downey Jr. plays the main character.
