Sunderland AFC is delighted to announce Phil Parkinson as the club’s new manager. The 51-year-old, who arrives with a proven track record and an excellent reputation within the game, has signed an 18-month deal at the Stadium of Light and will be joined by his assistant Steve Parkin.
