Looks as tho the carbon filters are lasting a month with the purifier on medium. I keep them going at all times because of my allergies. Can’t tell how economical it is because it is a new one for me. But is is a help for alexa to send notifier to change the filter. A short brush with the vacuum cleaner wand and new carbon filter works
