1. put a bit of soap and a lot of water onto a paper towel then clean off window. 2. wipe off with another paper towel soaked with water 3. dry with paper towels 4. measure dimensions and cut accordingly – scissors and a long ruler work, keep placing it up onto the window and trim wherever needed in case you have old oddly shaped windows like I do
