Amazon’s philosophy is that the “bar is always raising” meaning they trim the fat by removing who they think is the bottom tier employees to make room for new employees who “raise the bar.” I’ve heard the URA rate being 5-6%. This means that 10% are put in LE every year and about half of those employees are fired.
