Bacalhau, the first pre-salt project to be developed by an international operator. Discovered in 2012 and acquired by Equinor in 2016, Bacalhau (formerly known as Carcará) is a project located in the Santos Basin pre-salt with a reservoir of excellent quality oil and associated gas, making it one of the greatest discoveries of oil of the last decade in Brazil.
