The monitor worked just fine with my older Mac late 2013 since I switched to MacBook Pro 15-inch 2018 macOS Mojave installed the resolution quality is very poor (in system preferences under scaled only 3 options appear 1600 x 900, 1080p, 720p and all of them produce a very bad quality image. I googled many articles and have not found a solution.
