The rest of the production values are of a high standard: costumes and interior design are lavish and the chateau used for the exterior shots is almost fairy tale in its design. The film gained a bit of notoriety when Sophie Favier tried to stop its release for professional reasons but while it may appeal to the Skinemax crowd it is only so-so.
