It was a juggling act! The planner fits nicely in the laptop pocket, purse items in the front, phone in the back pocket, lunch in the main compartment, plus the water bottle and leak proof coffee cups are nicely tucked in the generous side pockets. All that and I have 2 more large pockets for extras (one on the inside and one on the outside).
