This desk looks very impressive, and appears much more expensive than it is. The wood is solid, sturdy, about an inch thick, and is very heavy. Please note that it is 72 inches long, which is absolutely huge for one person. Consider a smaller desk shell if space is an issue at all. The back is flat, not curved like some of the other desk shells.
