The 144Hz makes a HUGE difference jumping from 75Hz. I had to buy a VESA adapter in order to mount this to a 100mm x 100mm VESA mount. I do definitely notice the curve, and it looks great. I got this for 228 on a sale which was a great deal. The monitor has some white flickering when first turned on, but it goes away after a few minutes.
