I used to have a lot of apple products, with my last macbook being the 2012 13 and 15″ macbook pros. I ended up giving those to friends as I transitioned to a new windows-based laptop for college. 7 years later, and I finally had a compelling reason to purchase the newest MBP: a normal keyboard, USB C, larger screen, and improved thermals.
