President Donald Trump, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Vice President JD Vance participated in an Oval Office swearing-in ceremony for Witkoff, who is a senior adviser and special envoy for the president. Witkoff, a lawyer and friend of Trump’s, was initially brought in to help the administration on Middle East matters.
