I recently stumbled across two books of memoirs by Gen. Edward Porter Alexander. Fighting for the Confederacy: The Personal Recollections of General Edward Porter Alexander Military Memoirs of A Confederate If you haven’t read his “personal” memoir, “Fighting for the Confederacy,” I highly recommend it! I’m finding it fascinating.
