A plane has reportedly crashed on Gabriola Island between Decourcy Drive and the shoreline, near where Ricardo Road intersects with Decourcy. Gabriola Emergency Services were on scene, and four additional ambulances from the BC Ambulance Service were loaded on the 6:25 ferry sailing from Nanaimo as well as a BCAS supervisor vehicle.
